Wine
Domaine Naturaliste Morus Cabernet Sauvignon is a single vineyard selection from a block of the prized Houghton clone planted in 1978. It is the winery’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon.
Morus Australis is the scientific name for the mulberry tree; Morus is named for its unique mulberry flavours. The grapes are harvested at a balance of tannin and flavour ripeness. The juice macerates on skins for three weeks.
Maturation takes place in new and seasoned French oak barrels for 18 months, with a further year spent in bottle before release.
Deep mulberry, Domaine Naturaliste Morus Cabernet Sauvignon is opulent with extraordinary fruit character and finely balanced, silky ripe tannins. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
